sentencing

"quiet buzz in Washington" its on the federal court website for next week: https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/CourtSched.pl

Hope it comes during the convention!

Then maybe some reporter will actually do their job and ask John McCain why he buried the extent of exactly what Ralph Reed and Grover Norquist did with Abramoff --- since Mr. McCain sealed over 99% of the documents from his investigation. McCain's continued assertions that he "brought down" Abramoff - I'd think the responsible thing to do would be to ask him why these records are sealed if he is so proud of the investigation. Is he protecting 2 of the Republican party's biggest money men?

Abramoff's sentencing is Sept. 4 (next Thursday)

Just so you know.

Wrong

Not good news for the GOP? Wrong. They will get to showcase their bogus resume against corruption and their supporters will all get to shout for joy.

McCain will get to say, "See! I'm a superhero! I get the bad guys!"

Perfect timing for McCain. He needs something, so it might as well be this bullshit.

The more the spotlight is on the likes of Abramoff, the better.

Let's not forget how many times he is on the visitor log at The White House.

What about Ralph Reed?

Ralph's a good Christian man, right? Why did John McCain fail to have him testify before his committee investigating the scandal?
