To Commie Blaster:

Do you seriously think you represent the 300+ millions of Americans? Sorry to break it to you,but your kind are all a minority now (I'm referring to your few remaining fellow "commie blasters" from the United States of AmeriKKKa). I AM AN AMERICAN (UC BERKELEY TRAINED in the SCIENCES), and I deserve for my voice to be heard, to declare your "commie-blaster" site a piece of xenophobic propaganda dedicated to the few remaining bigots in the U.S. May you have a wonderful and productive day, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in OUR United States :) GOD BLESS AMERICA

Chesterton on apple trees bearing oranges.

The great conservative Catholic, Gilbert Chesterton, foiled your metaphor nearly a century ago in his essay on The Logic of Elfland. He said that things are not immutable, that one form of tree is not eternally bound to remain in its ONE form: Apple trees bear apples instead of pears(or oranges)because they are MAGIC trees---not because of some doctrinal necessity. We must all take care in advancing rhetorical figures lest we reveal a telling ignorance of our still available (and often keener) heritage.

Some people never learn!

B. S. you are one of those people who will never learn or understand the distinction of why Bush Jr. is not a republican but rather a RINO. Scozzafava is a prime example. If principle is not the guiding force in decisions you make then compromise is your rudder. If you say you are something then be that one thing. Stop trying to be something you are not. Apple trees dont bear oranges. If you happen to make the best tasting brownies in the whole world but you add just a pinch of shi^ to it. The only thing that will stand out in everyones mind is the shi^&y brownies.

Circumstance changes normal behavior. I thought my Truman example made it clear. At least to me.

Yes Bush threw it under a bus. He did not do so to see it get smashed. But to save. After consultation, choice was made.

His bus remark only confirms my reasoning.

Stock market gains4-6 month after money was sppent, prove he was right. It takes that much time to see results.

Schlesinger is a doofus

Pres. Bush admitted himself that he threw capitalism under the bus when he supported the bailouts. MOST republicans did not support the bailouts. Yes the typical RINO's supported it; Graham, McCain, Snowe, Collins, Specter; Don't forget how loudly Bush's Treasurey Secretary Hank Paulson was ringing the panic bell. I believe he's a Democrat....but Bush went against everything he supposedly believed in order to support the bailouts.

Of course he is a Republican

Yes he is. He was President to. Presidents are forced to transcend party, or at least they should. Bush either wrote or said, I forget, that 911 and recession changed his Presidency.

Had those two events not occurred, unlikely you would be posing this question today.

Had Bill Clinton did more those two events might not have happened. Twin towers occurred under his watch as well. He did sign into law low income housing helping lead to recession.

Bush and McCain both warned of financial collapse early enough to stop or lessen recession.

With known information given to Bush and approval of Congress, he went to war. Politics can not be a part of that decision. Fellow Missourian Truman did not want to drop the nuclear bombs. As he protected his solders in WWI, dropping bombs save 100,000’s Americans in WWII.

I believe Presidents are elected on their campaign. When President situation changes. he must decide for the good of the Country. Not his party. He is President of all people.

Lucky Presidents can stay with their agenda because no earth shattering event happened.
