Obama Administration Tax Dodgers: Is Solis Up to the Standard?

The husband of labor secretary-designate Hilda Solis recently had to pay $6,400 to settle tax liens. This raises a grave question in my mind about the Solis nomination: Only $6,400? I'm really not sure that meets the standard that Obama nominees like Timothy Geithner ($34,000) and Tom Daschle ($128,000) set. Sure, Nancy Killefer's tax lien was under $1,000, but she was a subcabinet nominee. I suppose, though, that working-class tax dodgers do deserve representation in the cabinet as well ...

Replace Latino with white and you'd be ostracized by the mainstream media.
