appt of lobbyists to key positions - OBAMA administration

In what ethics-in-government advocates described as a particularly far-reaching move, Mr. Obama barred officials of his administration from lobbying their former colleagues "for as long as I am president."

Another lying politician. When are we (as Americans) going to stand up to this corrupt government? Our basic system of government is good, but it has been hijacked by a group of politicians who no longer serve the American people. The time has come to vote them ALL out and start fresh.

Are we suprised?

Can we really be suprised by this double standard? I mean Obama's entire campaign was based on change: change his mind, change his position, change the rules.

This president was supposed to bring about an end to corruption, rascism and "politics as usual", but it in fact has done none of these. It has so far been quite the opposite! We have the Illinois/Chicago machine running our nation now, rules must be framed with the exeption in mind, whites need not apply, and those cabinet members not from Illinois are from the former Clinton administration.

As a conservitive christian working class man in America I am truly afraid for my fellow citizens and the state of our great nation in the next several years.
