A national politician who does what he thinks is right! Refreshing. Don't forget that most of the Democratic leadership and fellow Senate members abandoned him when he lost the Conn. primary. Why should he help them?

I suspect Joe is not particularly "holy" being pro-abortion. However he probably retains enough of his humanity and common sense to realize that the Democratic Party has been pirated by ultra leftists like Obama, Pelosi, Reed etc..and that the nation will suffer under these quasi-Marxist, vote whores. Are we clear?
