John McCain Gets Confused About Spain, but His Advisers Get Dumb

East Hemisphere Neglect
It seems that McCain's understanding of the world east of the Atlantic Ocean is deteriorating. In his mind, Spain is now a part of Latin American; Barack Obama's four years living in Indonesia somehow don't count as south of the U.S. border; and Alaska is the epicenter of relations with Russia.
Republicans ignorance on world geography and world leaders
President Ronald Reagan on National Television trying to justify our involvement in Central America said: "Nicaragua trough the common border with El Salvador is supplying the Salvadorean rebels with weapons". There is not common border among this two countries, Honduras is in between. George W. Bush ignored who the Prime Minister of India was. And now McCain does not even know who Rodriguez Zapatero is and in what region of the world Spain is. I can't imagine how the citizens of those countries lough at the ignorance of the leaders of the most powerful country in the world. This is a complete shame. I do not think Ms. Palin is more knowledgeable than all this bozos.
Just one point about the "spanish did cut and run in Iraq". The fact of the matter is that there was a general election with led to a goverment change. The conservative Popular Party supported the Iraq operation from the beginning, and sent spanish troops to Iraq. But the opposition led by the PSOE (socialists) rejected it from the beginning too, and announced they would take troops home whenever they got to govern Spain again. If PP had won elections again, no doubt troops would have remained in Iraq, as they even criticised socialists for taking them back, but socialists won and followed their convictions. As well as Obama has stated he will take US troops home, but Mccain won't.
Ask Him If He'll Meet With Don Quixote
... a mind is a terrible thing to lose.
Explain Spain to McCain
Explain Spain to McCain
To parody “The Rain in Spain” from the musical “My Fair Lady” (which was not about Sarah Palin):
: - )
“Explain McCain Spain our ally remains.
You think he’s got it.? Don’t think he’s got it.
And what’s more, John, just where would you find Spain?
Not south of these parts. Go look in Europe.
And does he know Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero
Belongs to NATO. Three cheers for NATO!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
You think he’ll get it. By George, he’s like George.”
Confused about Spain
I share nothing with Senator McCain except our ages. I am not mentally confused, but because of hearing losses in both ears, I often "appear" confused because I don't always hear the speaker. This is especially true when listening to women, who have different ranges than men, and even more especially when trying to understand people who speak with an accent. Just a thought.

McCain and Spain
If people would pay actual attention to McCain instead of blinding themselves with his POW status and so-called "Straight-Talk Express" nonsense, they'd see a man exhibiting the early stages of Alzheimer's. But no -- reporters keep accepting his campaign's spin on things and fail to do their jobs. Pathetic.
BTW, Spain did not "cut and run." The Spanish people NEVER WANTED to go into Iraq in the first place, and soon as they could they kicked out the man who took them there, anyway, and put in a man who DID what they wanted him to do. So would you please explain to me -- since when is it wrong for the people in a democracy to make their government follow their wishes instead of some megalomaniac's?
