SARAH IS LOVED BY ALL AMERICANS

Please do not presume to speak for me. I sooooo do not love Sarah.

It will do no good but, Barack Obama is not a muslim. Even if he was, I don't think that would make him as dangerous for our country as Sarah and John. On the one hand, you have a vice presidential candidate who quite honestly has no experience, knowledge, or educational background for the job. On the other hand, you have a 72 year old POW who honestly can say his best days are behind him. This is not the John McCain of 2000. This is an angry, know it's the last chance to be president, say anything, do anything shell of who he once was. Barack Obama/Joe Biden could run naked down the street, snorting coke off the median in the highway, everyday between now and Nov.4th, and I'd still vote for them before I'd cast a vote for that looney toon McCain/Palin ticket.

Wow... you seem to have a fixation on small things

O.K. Palin a governor. Governors typically do not do a lot of foreign travel. So why do you give a damn whether she visited a Iraq border post or not? It doesn't matter. Duh..... Stop the stupid "gotcha" reporting and report on her, and maybe even Obama's, policy positions. Duh.....

I will point out that Palin visited the troops as a "lowly governor" long before "THE ONE", a high U.S. Senator, decided he need a photo op as part of his run for President. So far, she has shown superior qualifications and character.

Let me be the first to congratulate Tom Of OK, who has the intellectual courage to say what he means and not beat around the bush like so many journalists and TV parrots who have to give the news the advertisers and sponsors want to hear....Palin wants us to join the "Drill baby Drill" group and work our way into energy sufficiency and Obama is busy collecting contributions from eveybody but could not even do very much as a senator....our middle class voters will vote for the most honest and capable candidates, and that is the way it should be in a real democracy.....

Bank Bail Outs

Goverment bail outs of failing banks, and insurance companies that effect the US economy may be a a wise discision; however, what about the ordinary Americans who have lost their jobs because of factories being shut down. Does the loss of our jobs not affect the American economy? After three years of retraining some are still looking for jobs to replace the ones loss in my hometown. Where does the working mother of three, trying to avoid welfare, the senior working to pay for medical insurance, and those of us between forty, and sixty-two go for our bail-outs? Six months of unemployment, and two years of retraining for jobs that do not exist in the areas we live in, does not replace half of a life time of service with a company. This dislocated worker would like to know, is their anyone listening in Washington?

Not even remotely qualified . . .

Sarah Palin: not even remotely qualified to hold the office she seeks.

K crossing is in Iraq

The Alaska unit in 2007 was covering Kuwait and had elements working just across into south Iraq. I worked with them during this time and I can tell you the state of Alaska should be proud of their lower enlisted and junior officers. As these are in fact the elements of the Army which are hers, she did what few state officials due and that was to at least make the effort to see her troops. I am no fan of the GOP as well as a lot of the policies that the VP hopeful feels strongly for. I do however wish to ask everyone, where were you when your people left?

RS and Newsweek

RS...Haven't you left for Newsweek yet?

palin/iraq trip

The Dems thought it was a good idea to question whether she'd actually gone to Iraq.

It wasn't a good idea.

They should be going after McCain, and on the issues.

But they remain obsessed with Palin.

And Robert Schlesinger is doing the very same thing.

I love it!!!

The Dems are so consumed with their own anger, they can't get out of their own way. So they're gonna blow another winnable race. And, y'know what, they deserve to lose.

I've lost so much respect for Sen McCain

I supported Sen. McCain for Pres. in '00 and also continued to support him with the "Straight Talk Express" for a couple of years after that. But after watching who he has surrounded himself with, who he has picked for his VP, how poorly she was vetted and most importantly how sleazy his campaign ads have been there is no way I could ever support him for president. He is taking not just a page but chapters and the whole dog-gone Karl Rove "Do Whatever Necessary to Get Elected" book, and that's not a good thing.

It's a real shame on us all if that's what wins elections.

REAL DEMOCRATS LOVE OBAMA

Sarah Palin is a bad joke. It is scary to think the Republican Party came up with her as the best that party can do. Obama has lived in and understands many different cultures. What does Sarah understand - absolutely nothing! She is a self proclaimed "hockey mom." Does our wonderful country deserve a "hockey mom" or do we elect a REAL president - someone that understands what our country needs and also understand different cultures. Newsflash people - there is more to this country than Christians. We are a "melting pot" or have you forgot that in your zeal of righteousness?
