lipstick

Sarah Palin is more like James Watt with lipstick. Her environmental record is deplorable.

Lost in the translation?

I thought I heard him calling a pig a pig.

Is spade a new term for pig?

Obama can't think on his feet.

Well even for a liberal rag like this I find this very low. Did Obama mean to insult Palin. I think he did. Even if he didn't his followers at the rally certainly took it that way and their reaction was obvious. I guess liberal fear is contagious. It shows at the very least that Obama has poor judgement in using that remark after Palins' wildly popular speech and "lipstick" joke. She sort of owns that joke right now and people immediately associated her wih Obama's jab. It also shows Obama can't think on his feet. No telepronpter and Barry falls apart, we've seen it many times. Hows he going to talk to Ahmadinejad, Putin and others when he can't do so without someone elses words coming up on a screen? No wonder all of our enemies want him in office!

Well, stupid Americans, guess what? What Obama did is correct...

There's a huge number of stupid Americans (like you) who believe anything reported in the media, so what Obama has to do is make some "stupid" phrase like "lipstick on pigs" and trust me, it'll stick. From now on, Sarah Palin will be defined as a pig with lipstick and even you idiot Republicans can't do anything about it. Feign as much outrage as you like, but Obama has outslandered the Party of Slanderers (GOP).

Hey, it worked for Bush last time, and it seems to work for McCain as well. Now Palin is never going to be anything but "pig with lipstick," and that's all she is. She did after describe herself as a pit bull, so this is what I have to say: PIG!

Sexist and Degrading? Yes, McCain Is

Since McCain uttered the same phrase regarding Hillary Clinton on 10/11/07, let's hold him to the same high standard he has for others. "First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean" (Matt. 23/26). The twice-married beauty-queen groping McCain should apologize for his own sexist and degrading comments before saying a single word to Obama.

What's with the "call a spade a spade" comment?

Your headline uses the phrase about spades but you don't expand on the thought in your article at all. So I'm left wondering what was the point of mentioning that racist phrase? Are you insinuating that the phrases "putting lipstick on a pig" and "calling a spade a spade" are moral equivalents? Has putting lipstick on a pig ever been a sexist statement until the McCain camp told the press that it was some huge insult? Do you know the racist genesis of "calling a spade a spade"?

Palin

Sara Palin is the real deal. Soon the country will know her and find out that this women is not just a flash in the pan. She can make a difference. Go Sarah

Bigotry

I can't believe the title of your article. Lipstick references aside, what's with the bigotry?

Lisa Lindo

you go Obama

I can't believe how stupid woman can be... Mcsame is using woman, don't you all get it.. Look at his record he is the same as bush in many ways.

biased media

It's absolutely amazing how biased the media is against McCain-Palin and for Obama-Biden. I've read and watched the news for 40 years and have never witnessed such bias. The bias was also evident against Hillary Clnton and for Obama.

Obama will be the first U.S. President to lay a foundation for a Military Coup in the United States. His lack of experience in foreign affairs, and his desire to endear the United States to Muslum countries and other U.S. haters will bring this about.
