i think it is an insult to the women of america to think that women will vote for mccain/palin just because she is a woman. hilary clinton, sarah palin is not. women have brains too!

I have more foreign policy experience than Sarah Palin

I think the number now is up to 58,000 and change of people (including myself) who count themselves as having more foreign policy experience than Sarah Palin.

Bashing only reflects the character of the Republican party. Petty, immature, ignorant, and a poor excuse for what the American People want from their Government.

Dems, keep the campaign positive, but tough, fair and honest. I"m sure I share what most Americans look for in a president. Someone that can hold his heads high with pride and determination to make this country what it was before the Bush clan moved in and destroyed our values, economy and the lives of young men and woman in Iraq.

I was a Republican for yrs., but now I'm hoping and praying that Obama/Biden can make it to the White House, and restore the pride we all feel for this great America.

Actually...

20,214 facebookers have more experience than Palin, as of 8:13pm.

Dear Mike Morgan

I'm a liberal. I do think I'm cool, yes. I agree with some of what you said. The "one vehicle per family" thing would never fly - how does mom buy groceries while dad is at work? (not to be sexist or anything). However, forcing people to bike to work is a FANTASTIC idea - inertia is a big force (i've been carping at my dad to bike or walk for the last ten years) but actual legislation could go a long way.

Drilling in ANWR is just stupid, though - the oil wouldn't be coming for another nine years, and all of ANWR's oil at once would be enough for the US for something like two weeks (don't know the exact number but it's pathetically low). The ANWR legislation that's been proposed has just been crap throw-aways to the oil companies. I do not want to set a precedent of favoring the oil companies' wishes (even though their own profits would be marginal at best) at the expense (however slight) of one of the last untouched lands on the planet when it's totally inconsistent and even contrary to the long-term solution anyway. The long-term solution, by the way, is electric cars and renewable energy. The technology for EV's is ALREADY well-developed and has been for years (watch Who Killed the Electric Car), and solar energy is a burgeoning field here in Silicon Valley where I live. It's politics - which bullshit proposals like ANWR drilling exemplify - that have prevented the solution from materializing so far.

"Wipe your nose, get to work and lets start solving problems not have petty discussions as who has more experience." I could not agree more. Well said.

She does have foreign policy experience

Have we thought about how close Russia is to Alaska? A scant 11,000 years ago, Alaska and Russia were connected by a land bridge. Consider all those Russian ancestors that came over to Alaska to hunt Bison. Why, she not only must have foreign policy experience, but she may be an ACTUAL foreign leader!

I, for one, will feel so much more comfortable having her in the White House during the next ice age (that her/McCain's energy policies will help bring on) and the Russians start marching over here...

Palin's Orange Alert

As great as her speech was, I did not get a possitve feel for Diplomacy under a McCain/Palin Administration. Nor did it seem that wars will be less likely. Essentially, the fear card was played with pride, and the terror alert will likely be orange for the next 4 years. She is going to be the next President. Its clear that the Council for National Policy (the Illuminati) have chosen her. Nothing we can do to change that.

Who is Dressing Sarah?

As a professional image consultant I have been facinated with Sarah's selection of clothing - especially the colors she wears. This morning I've asked several customers their opinion on what she wore last night. They will start to talk about how they like her hair, most can't remember her outfit, and then the conversation turns to McCain's wife. Her clothing is always beautiful but this stunning green dress gave her usual hard look a softness that makes me rethink my opinion of her. I would love to give Sarah that same memorable look to equal her memorable speech. Someone is trying to make her look to conservative. She should have been in America's favorite color - blue. She needs to stay away from the boxy jacket/skirt combo. I would love to work with her and really give people something to talk about. Sarah - give me a call.
