Jan. 18th, 2009

PRESS RELEASE:

“CALIFORNIAN ARTIST'S PAINTING OF PRESIDENT OBAMA AT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL”

Ron Keas was invited by Shepard Fairey to display his original oil paintings of Barrack Obama at the Manifest Hope Gallery in Denver during the recent Democratic Convention. Ron's first painting was of President Obama at the Lincoln Memorial. It is titled, "Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow." In the background is Lincoln's statue, being saluted by a child, with President Obama standing proudly in the foreground. In the painting, Lincoln's statue represents Yesterday, President Obama represents Today, and the child represents Tomorrow. As a result of the Gallery presentation, his paintings were noticed by the right people, and Ron’s charming original oil portrait of the Obama family was selected by the publishers of a collector calendar to be featured as the illustration for the month of August, which happens to be President Obama’s birthday month, (Aug; 4th) This calendar will be for sale at the Inauguration Ceremony. To date, Ron has completed 12 Barack Obama paintings and they can all be seen on his website at http://www.keasart.com.

He is also offering limited edition prints of all the paintings. His newest painting is scheduled to be unveiled today on his website. It is titled, "The Beginning" It shows Barack as a baby on a Hawaiian beach, discovering a sandcastle of the White House.

how bout try number 3

oh, vreek architecture.

Illiterate

Lorraine,

don't be so quick to accuse others of being stupid until your own comments are more literate. At least proof read your comments so you don't embarrass yourself. Please don't take this the wrong way but you sound like a moron.

White House Lawn, exactly the impression I got.

When I tuned in to CSPAN for coverage of the last night of the DNC Convention I looked at the stage and immediately thought "White House", and what more appropriate backdrop for Obama's acceptance speech that what appears to be the lawn of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Rove, McCain, and the rest of the pond scum are throwing as much crap as they can hoping something will stick to Obama because they are in fear of losing the strangle hold they have over the American People.

This has upset me

What is wrong with it if it were a Greek Temple? I mean, what is wrong with classical architecture?

This has really upset me, perhaps because my family is pagan. It was particularly offensive. I am sick of republicans using religiously diversive scare tactics.

It is just so wrong to call another person the things they are implying that he is.

The make me so mad about this, that if I didn't like Obama, I'd vote for him FOR his stage. UG

VOTE McCAIN

I do not believe that stupid, idiot, etc and Republican go in the same sentence. Aren't Democrats the ones who want the rich people to keep working hard, making lots of money, so that the government can take more of their money and give to people who won't work, who had too many babies, who committed crimes or became addicted to substances? Isn't that what Democrats want to do?

So let's think about that for minute. I am a business owner. I employ over 3/4 of my city's population. Because of my business, restaurants, movie theaters, car washes, gas stations, and grocery stores were all allowed to open up to cater to my employees. Not only does my business help out all my employees families, it puts food on the table for countless others in different sectors. Everything is good, in fact, lower my taxes so that I can expand, hire the rest of the city, and thousands more will prosper. Skip ahead, Barack Obama is elected, and

he wants to increase my taxes as an individual and on my business. He makes laws that require me to hire so many people and pay them X amount of money. What liberals don't take into consideration, at what point do I say, "No! I'm shutting the business down, I have enough built up in my retirement fund that I can just take it easy." What follows is countless job losses; babies and families go hungry because his father can't work anymore. Restaurants, movie theaters, car washes, gas stations, and grocery stores all go out of business because there is no one to sell their products to.

Vote McCain and keep this Country the BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!

And you say republicans are stupid....

It gets a bit silly

And it would be funny how quickly the republicians attack anything and everything, if the stakes were not so high. They have nothing to sell but fear, hate and lies. The sad thing is that a large percentage of Americans have given up thinking for slogans.

Corrections are necessary and there's more to say...

This moronic Republican Party speaheaded by Karl Rove and Johm McCain is so stupid that they don't know the difference between Ionic architecture and vreek architecture. They are the true idiots of the world. This from the same man who thinks that Iraq is atttached to Afganistan, who took two days to be able to pronounce his "best friend's" name,Sashkavilli

Yes there are things wrong with Obama, but in the end before Election Day will get most things right before election day. He's got the ability to grow and learn, and your friend like McCain is already suffering from mental impairment.

Oh stop already

Let me get this straight...everyone not like you is one or more of the following;

1) Moronic, 2) Stupid, 3) Idiotic...etc. How divisive.

BTW - 'They' do not know the difference between Ionic architecture and what?

Sick illiterate SOBs

This moronic Republican Party speaheaded Karl Rove and Johm McCain is so stupid that they don't know the difference between Ionic architecture. They are the true idiots of the world.
