Having it only one way ?

Why all the sudden concern for the "Zogby" Poll ? You all sworn swears by it when Obama led in the poll for months ? Now all of a sudden questions as to the validity of the poll because McCain gets a positive push ? Obama folks need to remember the fact that Obama has never had over 47% of the poll in the first place ! So much to the disappointment of the Obama supporters it will never be 100% for Obama !!If you want Obama`s numbers to go back up , keep him off LIVE TV !

Polls are like the weather

There is a hurricane outside my window right now. Tomorrow it will be gone. Maybe there will be a little rain. What about the next day? Sunshine? When the storm passes and the weather clears up then everyone will be able to assess the damage that has been done. The hurricane is barely a category one but it is no fairy tale... and some people will definately be more affected than others.

Polls are like the weather... hard to forecast but easy to spot where damage has been done. Only the seroius damage takes just a little longer to fix.

Politcally, there has been a little damage done... people have been able to assess the recent politcal storms. Both sides are getting an idea of what they are up against. I believe what has just happened is that the playing field just been evened... there is no front runner now. May the best man win.

Take It Seriously.

A 5 percentage point advantage is statistically significant with polls this large. It shouldn't be an outlier if all polls are taken responsibly.

Will it be a harbinger? If public sentiment remains the same or continues to accelerate in McCain's favor, yes. McCain looked great at the Saddleback forum. If he continues to be as articulate and confident in debates, he very possibly could win.

polls are correct

Most americans are scared to death of the thought of an empty suit like obama holding the highest office. His world view and socialistic ideas all came out in this past weekends interviews. He hurt himself by allowing us to see who he really is, no moral core values and beliefs to base his decisions on.

We'll never learn

Americans (we) are obviously idiots. I give up. We are an embarrassment to the rest of the world. Enjoy the USA while it lasts. Ignorant "low information voters" will be our downfall.

Downward Spiral

Far Side cartoon fans will remember the giant cockroach lying in an alley talking to a bum saying: "I had it all: great job, great car, money, success, beautiful wife. Then one day someone shouted, 'Hey! He's just a big cockroach!'".

BOTH NEED SOME AWAKENING...

BOTH CANDIDATES, AS WELL AS CONGRESS, MIGHT DO WELL TO LISTEN TO ANDREW BACEVICH… NOT JUST HEAR HIM

Only rarely does someone surface with qualifications as well as insights and a delivery that stimulate thinking. Even more rarely does an individual stimulate the very personal mental articulation of self observation.

Bacevich deserves as broad an audience as can be exposed to his thoughtful analysis.

Obama

Let me phrase this in a "thoughtful" way most Obliviots can understand...

Obama is ah, um, duh, going ah, um, duh, da, da, da, da, da, dowm!

Without Axelrod's brain, Obama talks different.

Shake, baby shake!

polls

I hope the US doesn't once again prove to the world what idiots they are by voting for flash over intelligence. All the gaffes on foreign policy McCain has made don't seem to matter to half the electorate. If he's elected we'll get what we deserve. Another dummy in the White House without good judgement and one who'll help out the rich while patting the poorer ones on the head and riling them up to destroy gay marriages.

I see it, but I don't believe it...there's something fishy going on here! The pols of to-day have been all over the map, and the press is playing it up like a violin! Let's all take a break and see what the VP choices and conventionsare going to do.
