Vice President Kathleen Sebelius? What's the Matter With Kansas?

It's time for these people to grow up.
It's no use trying to appease the die-hard Hillary people (women or men) because they're behaving like spoiled, irrational children who can't get their head around the fact that not every race or contest will go their way. You'd think they would know that after the past two elections.
The TRUTH about America
We don't like Black's, unless we can figure out how they can serve/benifit us. We surely don't desire to follow a woman, unless we can figure out how she can serve/benifit us. So, we men (pundits) seek to "sway" voters by creating "concern" and mistrust via our words and polls. Sadly, these are tried and true methods of convencing American's (who refuse to think for themselves) of what they REALLY want. NOW, we tell America, "you don't want a woman unless it is Hillary!," even suggesting that any woman would be the "other" woman. My God, it is thinking like this that allows us to elect GW Bush for a total of 8 years.
Instead of Issues, . . . it is popularity that dictates who will be President in this country. And if we can make America mistrust it, be afraid of it or have us believe that "White Male" is really the only real choice, THEN we have done our job, "Good for America" be da*ned!
I am tired of negative, I'm tired of lies, I'm tired of America falling for the "Oki Doke!" But Americans are what they are, and they will always fall for it because "stupid is, what stupid does."
HRC cannot be the candidate because she successfully painted herself as the "anti-Obama!" How then can she be VEEP? And since she was so good, why then CAN'T one of America's OTHER great leaders (who happens to be female) be VP? If I could have Obama's ear, I'd tell him what I think he should do. But I don't, so I can only PRAY that he decides to do what he says he desires . . . . What is BEST for America! And, maybe that is not necessarily what is politically expedient, but what is truly BEST! ! ! !
Spoiled, Suburban White Women
Never underestimate the ability of a Hillary supporter (aka - spoiled, suburban white woman) to cut off her nose to spite her face, especially when she doesn't get her way.
If we're all really quiet, maybe they'll sit back down on the couch in front of their afternoon soaps and daydream some more about the life they were sold by 60's television sitcoms.
"I think of a man and take away reason and accountability."

Only the pundits think we don't want Sebelius
I'm a huge Hillary fan and I LOVE Kathleen Sebelius. I would be thrilled to have either of them on the ticket with Obama.
Sebelius: An impressive leader who just happens to be a woman
Perhaps I am somewhat biased; I am a Kansan and very proud of our Governor Sebelius. I can't emphasize enough to a non-Kansas how amazing it is that a woman Democrat has been elected Governor by a large margin - twice - in a such a conservative Republican state as Kansas. She isn't flashy and I wouldn't call her charismatic, but she is a hard worker, sharp and level-headed, and matter-of-fact. She did good things for the state's financial bottom-line and that, perhaps more than anything, earned her that level of respect within our state. And these attributes have nothing to do with her being a woman. If she does happen to be the vice-presidential nominee, I hope that there is time in the short two months before the election to educate the rest of the nation about what a truly impressive leader she is.
We all know that out of more than 150 million women in the US, only one of them is capable of handling the rigors of the vice-presidency: Hillary Rhodam Clinton. She is the womanifestation of everything women are capable of. There is NO woman more talented than she. Her experience of being married to a president, then becoming a junior senator of a solidly blue state on the basis of this association has given her the skills necessary to step in and take orders from a President Obama on day one. Her failed presidential bid was fueled almost entirely by media hype and the novelty that she is married to 42. Derailed by her inability wrestle control of her own campaign's message from her husband, she has had years of experience playing second fiddle. We all know the pool of talented, successful women in this country is small. But surely amongst this incapable gender there is someone who can use their extreme narcissism, financial prowess, and name recognition to ride some coat tails. By only scratching the surface of a pile of female resumes, we can see that good ol' HRC is indeed the most qualified VP candidate.
Women across the country know that if Obama doesn't hand her the keys to the VP office, no woman will gain a position of leadership in this country for decades. One of the few things women understand is that few of them have the intelligence to work in government (or even associate with other famous people).
Amen for Governor Sebelius
I agree completely. You can't read a word about her without some pundit saying, oh but he can't choose her because it would be a slap in the face to Hillary supporters. Well, there are plenty of us middle-aged women who are not Hillary supporters who would love to see her or someone equally qualified, a female perhaps. I have never seen this blatant type of discrimination in my lifetime ..we can not choose her, or Senator Murray or whoever because only one deserves it. You don't get the VP slot because you deserve it. You get it because you are qualified, you probably meet certain electoral goals, and you have a good working relationship with the candidate.
I am sorry that Obama has not addressed this directly. I am sorry that various women leaders, including Senator Clinton herself, have not put a stop to this.
To think that a woman in this day and age would be excluded from consideration because she is a woman, but just not the only one, is insane, sexist and probably somewhat illegal. mg
You clearly don't get it...
It's a simple case of "the other woman."
If "the other woman" is smarter, more talented, more dynamic, more accomplished, etc., there probably wouldn't be a problem. Rightly or wrongly, Kathleen Sebelius is just not perceived to be better than Hillary. A woman who's had to fight for anything in her life will always root for the one who actually went out there to fight despite mud being flung her way. If Obama picks Sebelius, Hillary will become the woman he dumped after she had put him through school and raised his kids.
