Freefall

Democrats had the chance to show America that they could lead with responsibility and discipline after a dismal showing by the GOP. And a lot of people put their faith in this President with little real experience history on which to base that faith. What a monumental disappointment. It is now apparent Obama and Democrats in Congress presided over one of the greatest rapes of taxpayer wealth in this countries history. In only 6 months, we now have accumulated unfathomable debt, my childrens future is compromised, our county's confidence is broken, and I'm madder than hell. The porkbarrel stimulus charade is now exposed for what it was. No-wonder the push to get it through so fast. And to the media who sat mute as it all happened? I cannot find the words, and if I could, they would not be suitable for printing.

Conservatives are idiots

Yeah, just keep on whining after our gains in 2010, and Palin gets defeated 30-70 in 2012.

Re design the Drawing Board

The coalition of EST refugees, millenial BRATS,crossover & Latin voters will start to peel away when they suffer the South Side double cross that awaits them. But it is the time (like yesterday)for the Republicans to get back on message regarding a tax less ,spend wiser, govt. out of your personal life that can still defend the United States & help broker a lasting peace between Israel and it's neighbors.

Democrats in deep trouble

With the unemployment rate rising, it's the Democrats who are in trouble.

The stimulus bill was a farce and it's not working. The cap-and-trade scheme will impose more taxes on the poor and middle class in the form of higher electric bills and gas prices. Health care will bust the federal budget and lower the quality of care.

I can't wait for the next GOP presidential candidate to use the line Reagan used against Carter: "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"

Poll Shows Liberal Democrats in Trouble

It is Republicans who are in trouble, not democrats.

someone are sleeping instead of working here....

The sun is shining on liberals, so

Now is the time for them to "make hay" on real legislation----one issue after another, and most especially, health care WITH a permanent public option.

Now is not the time for them to sit idly by listening to conservatives spinning polls.

The more the liberals GET DONE, the better they are going to be liked. The more they merely "talk liberal" and then cave in to bi-partisanship that no one cares about, the more they are likely to be disdained.

More Liberal? Yes, and right on the issues.

The author deliberately left out the next question in the survey, which established solidly that more felt the Democratic policies were right track and the Republican positions were wrong track.

This means the Republicans need more than a makeover, a rebranding, a cosmetic touchup. Republicans need to figure out that repeating the same old slogans only louder is not a way to expand the party's shrinking base. Some obsolete pet positions will have to be abandoned and new ideas developed, neither of which suits the personality profile of Republicans.

Without serious changes, Republicans are fated to wander indefinitely in the wilderness, where they can entertain themselves by reading each other out of the party for lack of purity.

Heh

Judging by the previous post, it would seem that "eveyones" tax money should go towards spelling classes!

Dah this is not new news

While a lot of the liberals sometimes come across as crazy. Like when PETA made a big deal out of OBAMA killing a bug flying around his face. The same can be sayed of republicans running the white house out of the old testoment. Both are wrong.Yes kill the fly but keep the bible out of my bed room and out of our policys that are payed for out of eveyones taxes not just the folks that can shout the most. Its time to include all americans in our modern times of all colers, religions and yes sexual identities. There is a place for all of us.The money spent on fighting one another could be spent in much better ways.
