Ice is melting

The comments here are ideolgoical rants, filled with noice and thunder and signifying nothing more than "I hate government especially leftish ones"

i hope this is not characteristic of all Americans today. Screaming "liar" to destroy the opponent demands proof of the lie. If screaming is liar is enough, and is followed simply buy attacking their facts as wrong and my acts as Truth is the essence of debate, we have all be damaged our cable news advocacy journalists and stand to be loud but ineffective as the world mutates into a damp hell in which only those who can pay for high ground will flourish.

Wake up America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Impeach that retarded woman.

Lie and Miore Lies

""At an estimate of $200 per year per house hold, the cost is not prohibitive. Of course if you don't believe in science, then that's $200 too much. ""

This figure of $200 is a bald face lie. Any Cap and Trade Bill that raised energy costs $200 per year per household would fail utterly to reduce energy demand and CO2 emissions. So either the $200 figure is a lie or the bill will reduce CO2 emission is a lie. They cant both be true

Destruction of America?

Pelosi, Gore and the Elites are on the path once again of destroying this once great productive country. This country has untold reserves of Coal which we should be using instead of foreign oil.Any plant that produces any carbon gets taxed and the American Taxpayer gets holding the bag again! We will be living in straw huts pretty soon. Gore will stand to make untold riches on this law so he and Pelosi are strong arming the undecided votes. These Elites think they know what is best for all the American citizens. The working Citizens should have the right to vote on these important measures and not the multi-millionaires.This Cap and Trade law will make Coal mining Extinct. This will be the Last nail in the coffin for industry in America. We will produce Nothing and will become a Third world country. Any money that Fat ass Gore should make on this Global Warming Myth should All be returned to the working class!!! Washington is Destroying this once Prosperous Country. The People Must Wake Up before it is to Late!!!!!!!!!

sounds like a bargain

What cabbage leaf were you born under, you dear babe in the woods?

Sounds like a bargain

At an estimate of $200 per year per house hold, the cost is not prohibitive. Of course if you don't believe in science, then that's $200 too much.

The Iraq war cost us $3400 per taxpayer. The Conservatives didn't complain about dumping that on the country. But that was something they believed in.

I vote for the $200.

mini nuclear reactors and natural gas

why rush to pass this CAP & TRADE BILL. is the potential of our natural gas resources and the development of mini nuclear power plants being taken into consideration. from everything i have read so far about these two energy sources, it seems that they would be cheaper , more efficient and and easier to use then either wind power or solar panels. this present administration has to let american companies that know how to develope energy production facilities let them do it. just these two sources would also create jobs and give us more products to export. the powers that be are to interested in a progressive agenda that no one has any idea of what the long term effects will be. there is a lot of conjecture right now that it will be cheaper in the long run,but i think there will just be more people that won't be able to afford it. i hope this CAP & TRADE BILL will fail.

Correction :"... Touted..."

.

The Compost Heap of History

"Friend of the big polluters"...?Are you referring to India ,our so toted strategic partner?Or our known enemy ,Red China ,using the Free Market to finish us off?Their unwitting agents in both Houses would have us walk about wearing only loin cloths or grass skirts in the dark fanning the flys away to save a kilowatt.

cap and trade

$5 for a loaf of bread, $10 per gallon of gas, this bill with KILL all of us that aren't multi milionaires and for what so that can get richer. it will destory my company and put me out of business. i am an IP company and if i can't travel 15 miles to my customers in the next town game over. it will kill all small business 90% of our economy
