I completly agree with you

War Crimes?, Abortion and lies...

Firstly in case everyone has forgoten, the USA had WAR declared on US at 911. The only concievable "war crimes" I can think of are directly targeting civilians AND murder of detainees in your care. Neither of these have occured at the hands of the US. BOTH have occured at the hands of the terrorists thugs that are willing to DIE if they can take ANY of OUR citizens with them.

Secondly the release of the memos by Obama was done purely for political gain (I'll explain that later) and the Democrats all jumped in the pool declaring that throwing water in a Terrorist's face was "torture" but are perfectly willing to support (and pay for with OUR money) CERTAIN DEATH of un-born Americans through abortion.

Lastly this is a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN for Obama. He gets to attempt the continuing blame of the previous Administration, He gets to appease his liberal base by releasing these documents, He might get rid of Pelosi cause he hates to share the limelight AND when Dems and Republicans go down for this NON-CRIME HE gets to claim non-partisanship in his high moral standards.

He IS a great Politician which places him at the lowest form of human existance.

Ha ha ha!

This is hilarious!

Think about what happens if there's a torture inquiry:

Bush goes to jail.

Cheney goes to jail.

Rice goes to jail.

Gonzales goes to jail.

How many other Bushies end up in prison? 20? 50? 100?

Let's find out.

And who is insisting on an inquiry? President Obama? Nope.

It's Newt Gingrinch, Peter Roff, and the rest of the Republican 'brain trust' forcing the issue.

Bye-bye Bushies! And you can thank your 'friends' for the pretty orange jump suits.

Nancy Pelosi is an embarrassment to our Country and our Government she needs to be replaced NOW!!!!!

And they whispered about Regan having a memory problem. Pelosi is overwhelmed, the job is beyond her capabilities. She is a poor excuse for a leader, you can not her what she says because of her negative focus on the past and on she hatred for republicans. It is people like Pelosi who engender disrespect for our Nation and weaken our Country. Pelosi prefers to CYA then speak the truth. War is not a picnic, the armed services who keep our borders safe at great peril are not confronting boy-scouts they are up against terrorists, hate mongers, lunatics who want to destroy our country, take away our freedoms, and bury us.

If in fact, if the CIA is lying that is a criminal offence, let all the Democrats and Republicans who were privy to these intelligence briefings come together and call for a congressional hearing on the subject. Obama himself, admitted that water-boarding had been used by intelligence to keep America safe.(flip flop) More severe tactics have been used by college fraternities during rush week. Get a grip, these are difficult and different times where we have terrorist cells living among us we can not afford to put our guard down we must stay focused.

It is troubling to say but I feel less safe today with the current administration than I ever did with the Bush Presidency.

Pelosi

I think Gingkrich has madea strong point. Nancy Pelosi is concerned only with her own back. Not too well, at that. I think the democrats should rethink who they have as speaker of the house. Their past senate leader has been proven to be of no asset to South Dakota nor the United States Senate, nor to the Democrat party. If you have a dud, get rid of the dud.

Pelosi - Bush - Gingrich

It occurs to me that the ping pong over who said what when with these folks in the news along with a certain Cheney, maybe we should drop back from the conservative-liberal and Republican - Democrat battleground. Since we have all these people who are willing to cross the line between reality and the "reality" they want us to believe, we could get a long ways into regaining a real government if we were to vote them out; those who are already out we need to keep out. If they are so willing to lie to all of us to maintain their power, if we continue to support them, all we are doing is voting on letting them blow smoke up our backsides rather than really facing our future and working realistically with it.

If She's Truthful

If Pelosi is being honest, that would mean that the CIA lied to her, only to her, and exclusively to her.

Did you defenders notice that not one single other Democrat (or Republican) who was briefed about these EITs have said they were mislead or not told? Not one single person other than Pelosi has said that.

Even Goss, who was in her meeting said they were briefed. You may not believe him, fine.

But you would have to believe she was the only one misled out of dozens.

Even then, she knew about it in 2003 by her own admission.

Funny how she was just now against it, but was obviously in favor back in 2002-2003.

She's showing she's a politician 1st, an American 2nd.

RE: The Punditry of Ethics-Challenged Gingrich

Jimmy, like most people, will overlook a crime, because of who reports it.

I could not care less WHO reports the truth. You would excuse her and other criminal behavior just because of who reports it and talks out against it? Shame.

I cannot stand Pelosi, but if she uncovers criminal fraud on some Republican, good for her. I wouldn't make excuses and say that she should not talk.

Why do you?

No one cares?

"So what if she lied, no one cares."

Um, a whole heckuva lot of people do.

It's voters like you that don't care that politicians lie that gets us these crooks elected and re-elected over and over again.

When lazy folks like you decide to care, we can clean up our government. Since people like you don't, we get people like Ted Stevens, Pelosi, et al.

You, sir, are what's wrong with this country, and you have no clue.

No One Cares

So what if she lied, no one cares. Let's just move on.
