Season Canceled for Oregon Frisbee Team

Play the game
Ive played on a collegiate Fribee team and sure, we had keggers to support the team, maybe even smoked a little weed at an after party. But one thing we never did was take the sport for granted. As a former marathon runner and one hell of a ultimate player, i never showed up to a game, not ready to win. You would think with all the attention Ultimate has gotten in the last 1o years that the new generation would take the game serious. Frisbee is like all athletic ventures, its not about your crazy antics, it's about being a college athlete and I can not recall any beef stick, making a tackle naked. Good Job OU administration....they got what they deserved.
Naked Frisbee College Competition????
Damn, where are the pics. I want to see evidence of the frisbee players naked. This may be as good to see at the Naked Mile Run at University of Michigan
osama bin laden might be inspired
in america the slightest bit of nudity is controversial, feared, panic sets in... it's ridiculous. we all know what we look like naked. these are college kids. in europe athletes celebrate by streaking, stripping, running around in their undies all the time... why are we so scared? maybe bin laden should terrorize us with an army of naked soldiers... that will really create terror.
This is Frisbee competition people!
This isn't Football, Basketball or any other major college sport! It's freakin Frizzbe ball, which nobody gives a rats ass about anyway!! Get a life people!!
UO Canceled Frisbie Team season
Eugene, Oregon recently held a nude parade with a police escort. UO football and basketball athletes occasionally make the news for serious arrests. But their sports bring in huge profit to the university. I am sickened that the UO would hold underfunded athletes to a different standard that athletes of sports that bring in big bucks. These frisbie teammates got out of hand and have done the same silly things the athletes from the profitable teams have done - have keggers, speed in their car. I hope that people from Eugene and elsewhere will encourage President Frohnmayer and Vice President of Student Affairs, Robin Holmes will enact fairness and equity in their treatment of this team.
Being ranked 3rd in the nation and missing final national competition is not a penalty that would be put on football or basketball teams. This once in a life time event should not be denied these kids. It leaves a bad taste of unfairness. I hope people will speak up on their behalf.
What 09 Nationals will be missing
