Season Canceled for Oregon Frisbee Team
A club sports governing body at the University of Oregon upheld its decision to cancel the rest of its men's ultimate Frisbee team's season after receiving complaints that some members of the team played naked in a "very informal" intrasquad game at an Oregon State tournament in early April, the Oregon Daily Emerald reports.
The Oregon team, which is ranked third in the nation, plans to appeal the decision again, but it's very unlikely the team will be allowed to play in the regional tournament this weekend, despite letters of support from other Frisbee teams and apologies from team members and its chaperone.
The team was already under scrutiny for several speeding tickets and alcohol-related offenses, including one that resulted in a $1,000 fine from the city and put the team on probation from club sports.

Ive played on a collegiate Fribee team and sure, we had keggers to support the team, maybe even smoked a little weed at an after party. But one thing we never did was take the sport for granted. As a former marathon runner and one hell of a ultimate player, i never showed up to a game, not ready to win. You would think with all the attention Ultimate has gotten in the last 1o years that the new generation would take the game serious. Frisbee is like all athletic ventures, its not about your crazy antics, it's about being a college athlete and I can not recall any beef stick, making a tackle naked. Good Job OU administration....they got what they deserved.

osama bin laden might be inspired
in america the slightest bit of nudity is controversial, feared, panic sets in... it's ridiculous. we all know what we look like naked. these are college kids. in europe athletes celebrate by streaking, stripping, running around in their undies all the time... why are we so scared? maybe bin laden should terrorize us with an army of naked soldiers... that will really create terror.
