GWU Students Protest 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

Around 60 George Washington University students marched to the White House on Saturday to protest the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy regarding gays in the military, the Hatchet reports. The march was prompted by the dismissal of a GWU freshman from the NROTC program after he was seen kissing another male by two other NROTC members.

"It is pretty motivating to have so many people show up," said Todd Belok, the student who was dismissed from the program. "I think as long as we continue the momentum until March 13 [a major national rally on the issue] . . . then we can really change something."
