Liquor Sales Up, Beer Sales Down

An economic indicator near and dear to many college students' hearts: Liquor sales in Michigan are up about 3 percent between fiscal years 2006 and 2007, and, similarly, sales of liquor were up in Mount Pleasant, home of Central Michigan University, the Central Michigan Life reports.

Overall, alcohol sales have been relatively unaffected by the economy because the purchase of booze is acyclical, a Central Michigan economics professor explained. But more cost-effective types of alcohol, like liquor, tend to do better than beer. "People are still going to drink," said a local liquor store owner. "People can get more bang for their buck with liquor."

FYI: Let's Keep Our Students. We Need Them.

Know question I'm stepping out of my norml quarters today in regard to this article out of the Education Mode instead of the opinionated Health section. Maybe it's because I just recieved a new diagnosed symptom of my current acquired neuromuscular disorder/disease called "Central Pontine Myelinolysis." Yes, similar to a first cousin to MS except for the fact that CPM can go through all the MS Stages in a matter of a couple days.

OK, now let's get right to my reason for my drive by along with a bit of info that for safety sake, I'll admit to you that in the same manner that most all alcoholic beverage are now being labled in regard to all the FACTUAL HEALTH ISSUSES proven to be brought on due to a possible over abundance to your own personal health issues.

The disease I'm speaking of being Central Pontine Myelinolysis or CPM for short has been a "Between the Lines Killer For Almost 50 Years Now." If you have any doubt to my info, go pull up WHO (World Health Organization) and Central Pontine Myelinolysis. You must rememember our issue on cigarettes or tobacco. Just change the product and your in for a real shocker. G-d Bless....
