Drug Bust Nets 75 San Diego State Students

Good to see a small drug operation shut down. Too bad they have not caught the main supplier yet, only a few college students selling relatively small amounts.

What a joke, the DEA got nothing. This is a minor fraternity at SDSU, not even on new or old frat row, and others are most likely much more active and connected. The frats are dirty places!!!
stupid people
the last person that wrote is an idiot. just because some fraternities deal drugs doesnt mean "the frats are dirty places". i live in a fraternity that contributes significantly to its campus and throws parties but doesnt do anything malicious, and thats what the majority of fraternities are like. people like you are just ignorant
Operation Sudden Fall
Even though those students got busted, the university's reputation will not be destroyed for their mistakes they caused towards themselves.
frats
"stupid people"....your opinion is totally biased because you're in a frat. it's not that the frat scene is necessarily bad or the guys in there are bad people, but their parties can be dangerous because they attract many strangers, many who are often not brothers. some of my best friends are in frats, but there's no sane person who would deny the fact that they can be a hostile environment.
SDSU Declining Value of Diploma
It seems as if everyday SDSU's reputation and value as an educational institution is declining. I wouldn't send my kid to SDSU if they offered him a full scholarship. In addition, it is horrible that all the alum and future graduates have to work through this nationwide story that is has slammed the SDSU name.
The president and the administration of SDSU needs to have preventative measures. There should have no been any POT growing in the Dorms and the fraternities should not have been home to growth or sales either. They should have implemented narks/informations earlier years ago. This will be a huge hit on SDSU and it looks so bad. The public relations team at SDSU is going to have a hard time with this one.
I applaud the SDPD but shame on SDSU administration and the president. The president in his message on SDSU.com first applauds the police. He first needs to apologize. He says the university is a place of human growth, learning, integrity; he cannot even recognize the students and apologize first handedly in his message. Absolutely horrible.
No Big Deal
Right. No big deal. Tell that to the 4 or 5 kids who have overdosed in the last 4 years. Or maybe tell that to the parents of the freshman girl who died because she was just doing what everyone else did. How about the fact that not a single student was shocked today because everyone knew how many drugs went around SDSU daily. It's not a small deal... it's major, and maybe the school will not turn such a blind eye to the greek system anymore.
Fraternities
the frat scene isnt bad but it attracts dangerous people?
our opinion is less biased then u think.
A fraternity house is still a house and believe it or not we dont want shady characters in it. we can say no.
why don't you search the girls house in which she overdosed in! everyone here does drugs get over it please. I can't believe all this is happening and that some of my friend just for smoking weed get arrested. Those police men can't say they have never smoked weed before. This is so sad. The police pretty much just ruined everyones social life. Thanks. And everyone is still going to want to come here.
