Brown's Chief Investment Officer Made $1.3 Million in 2007
Brown's top-paid administrator in the fiscal year ending in June 2007 was its chief investment officer, Cynthia Frost, with a compensation package of $1,351,639, the Brown Daily Herald reports. At the time, a number of the school's other top earners were also major players in the university's investment strategies (which, at the time, were pretty successful).
Meanwhile, its president, Ruth Simmons, earned $775,715.
