The "It's not Southern Cal" is on Page 2 of the 2008 football media guide

Just checked and confirmed that the request is in the 2008 media guide on Page 2 (boxed section titled "It’s Not ‘Southern Cal’"). Its available for free in PDF form on the USC Trojans athletic website.

Please read the USC Trojans football media guide and note that there is an express request by the University of Southern California that the media please NOT call them "Southern Cal" (and its been like this for over 10 years). I assume USA TODAY would follow that sort of request instead of choosing to be antagonistic.
