Election Day Turns Ugly for Some
Election Day was not all puppies and unicorns for everyone:A small portion of the anti-Obama minority vented their disappointment, anger, and frustration on pumpkins and campus structures this week.
At Middle Tennessee State University , a pumpkin bearing President-elect Obama's face was found stabbed, covered in red paint, and hanging from a dorm Tuesday evening. Police were inundated with phone calls about the disturbance, and the incident was later filed as malicious mischief, the Sidelines reports
Police from North Carolina State University are investigating threatening and racist anti-Obama messages left Wednesday in the "Free Expression Tunnel" on campus, the Technician reports. Officials have already painted the tunnel white to cover the messages.
The Baylor president sent out an E-mail Wednesday condemning Election Day conflicts on campus, which included burning Obama signs, a verbal altercation that required police response, as well as a noose found hanging at 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Lariat reports. The Baylor police chief says they have talked to at least one person with information on the noose incident.

08 The Time 2 Come As 1
We as people need to come as one.Stop all of this black or white stuff. At the end of the day we should be thinking adout a better way of life for one another. The world as we live will never be great if we can't look pass the skin color the next person has. It's time for a change!I bet if Obama looked more white than black than it would be right.Well wake-up cause from what I see he's a half black half white man trying to make a change for us all.Do you really think you can go another four to eight years with this world we live in sinking?
Baylor
I would like the author of this (and all of the other sources that have wrote articles about the incident at Baylor) to publish a correction as the source of the rope has been investigated, and it was NOT a noose.
This story was poorly handled by the media, as multiple news sources jumped to conclusions, defaming the name of Baylor University when the incident hadn't yet been investigated.
obama threatens stability
i've had the opposite experience on my campus.
pro-obama kids have been hostile, aggressive, and generally rude toward anyone supporting differing views.
