  • Likely in response to a handful of particularly distasteful costumes from last year, a representative from one of Yale's houses sent out an E-mail reminding students that blackface for Halloween is not OK, the Yale Daily News reports.
  • Malware has infected at least 1,000 Cornell computers, spread mostly through the use of removable hard drives, such as USB sticks, music players, or cameras, the Cornell Daily Sun reports. "This infection has struck virtually all parts of campus," said an IT official in a campuswide E-mail.
