How quickly the world turns

Your article makes me recall Glen Beck's rant on the obscene amounts that colleges were bringing in each year on their endowments: http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/05/14/beck.collegeendowment/index.html. How quickly the world turns.

Endowments, well used (e.g. Berea College), can be such a powerful tool, it is sad to see them get hammered by the markets.
