Western Kentucky Locked Down After Reports of Shots Fired

There were never any guns found on campus. However, the president of the university did authorize the substantially White-membered campus police force to go in full effect to subdue and harass any and every possible African American student who was without notification of the lockdown (as there were many who did not receive the texts) and toss them to the concrete. Later, a couple DOZEN students were detained for questioning, none of which were actually involved in the elementary-scale quarrel within a group of African American students. Out of fear for her own safety, a shaken White member of the student staff phoned police claiming to have seen black men waving pistols. Apparently, with the high-tension on campuses nation-wide after Columbine and Virginia Tech style school shootings, the female falsely incriminated the entire African American community of the Western Kentucky University campus. The College Heights Herald, a racially biased, White student-run newspaper, and the ONLY “news” representation available on the campus, portrayed the event to have been a failed attempt of African American students to terrorize the White populace of the university. Later, after many departures from the local police station and without being charged (without apology), the African American students who were released were among many students who lived in the slum-like residence halls at the opposite end of the university, and many of whom attend the community college, were sent emails from the university President. The purpose of the email was to inform those said students that the administration has no tolerance for (students who can be quickly descended upon for causing no harm and doing no wrong), students who are looking for trouble and overtly differing from the over 90% of White students (basically the entire African American student body).
