96 Georgetown Students Face Food Poisoning
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, at least 96 Georgetown students had been treated for symptoms of food poisoning, prompting the university to shut down a dining hall, the Hoya reports. Students began pouring into the hospital around 10 p.m. Tuesday with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.
The university held a press conference yesterday and has been alerting students via E-mail of the outbreak's status. Although officials have not determined for certain whether the illness was foodborne or if it originated from school facilities, the dining hall will remain closed until the investigation is complete. According to the Washington, D.C., health department, nearby Maryland and Virginia jurisdictions have not reported any other similar cases.

Cost of tuition really has nothing to do with a food poisoning outbreak. Foodborne illnesses have been associated with all kinds of conditions and situations, from the lowliest fast food restaurants to the most prestigious institutional events. You are drawing conclusions based on an entirely invalid line of reasoning.
Food Poisoning At Georgetown
For Georgetown to be so expensive, a lot of mishaps go on there. I attended the university for summer classes in 2006, and so many things negative events took place. I love the atmosphere, but I think that they should tighten up on a lot of their quaint security methods. As I'm getting used to my college environment, I feel that I want to stay here where as opposed to about a month ago I wanted to transfer to Georgetown. I realize that these things do happen, but this is riduculous. Especially for the school to be so ridiculously priced.
