CSI: Nebraska

January 25, 2008 05:25 PM ET | Alison Go | Permanent Link | Print

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Agronomy and Horticulture is trying to lure students into learning with its homegrown version of the crime procedural, "Big Red Green Team: Investigating Scenes of Crime," the Daily Nebraskan reports. "Instead of characters being experts on fingerprints or blood spatters, the Big Red Green Team's specialties include plant diseases, entomology, weeds, those types of topics—things that fall into the realm of agronomy and horticulture."

Check out the clip. It's not going to win any Emmys—or even a Golden Globe—but we'll take anything, what with the Hollywood writers' strike and all.
