IQ Professor

O.K. Saprophagous, eater of dead things. (Saprophyte would have been more familiar to many of us.)

Sacciferous: Posessing a sac.

Sackbut: Ancestor of the trombone.

Saltigrade: proceding by jumping.

I am impressed beyond werds. The way these "s" words all join up in an aboriginal aliquot of alliteration is astounding! I would be better if it made some sort of sense, but What the hey!

eh?

IQProfessor from my home state

Did you really just patronize the whole internet by telling them to go look up 'analogy' gramps? That was your ace in the hole you saltigrade saprophagous sacciferous sackbut? I also have two degrees, and a fake honorary doctorate from the University Of People Who Refer To 'god' As A Proper Noun Are Too Old To Matter, and I say that you should look up 'arrogant kumquat' in your Highschool Yearbook, stare into those eyes that were once yours, and try to find the moment when your ego lead you to lose touch with reality.

Oh, and BTW, Sarah Palin is a giant idiot.

this is the person who would lead global strategy?

Stop and think.... You are talking about putting a person in the most powerful strategic position in the world. This is supposed to be the toughest job interview in the world. I'm sure its fun for her to have gotten a local position in a little town, then get swept into the governer's office because of turmoil and corruption, quit the first real job as governor, turn on the presidential candidate that you are supposed to be helping into office midway through the brief time between convention and election... and act like it was her own presidential run.... Do you want that person setting policy that affects the entire world? Do you want that person commanding troops and determining the outcome of this country and the world? A strong woman would be great. Maggie Thatcher was as smart and stable as she was tough... But Sarah?

Sarah Palin's Education.

Catie, it isn't that "one is only qualified for the presidency if they have been to ONE university and graduated in the standard 4 years."

A lot of people go to a convenient and inexpensive community college for two years before transferring to a four-year institution. Sometimes people find it advisable or necessary to go to three or four colleges, in exceptional circumstances.

But there's no reason to believe that Sarah Palin's circumstances were exceptional. She wasn't an Army brat. For someone from a stable home and family to attend four colleges in six years -- with three semesters being the longest period -- that's unusual. It calls attention to itself.

It wouldn't be at all important except that in combination with some of her obvious personality traits, it suggests a kind of whimsy that might not be suitable in the White House. Her quitting half-way through her first term as governor adds to the impression. All it does is make any normal observer question her judgment and her commitment.

America, home of the "average"

If Obama had the education record of Palin, he would've been trashed by the same pundits and fools who so blindly support Palin's idiosyncracies. Her constant transferring shows a pattern of inconsistency and a lack of commitment. That is obvious to me, but I do have two degrees, and I am a professor. I couldn't expect someone of simpler intelligence to understand this basic conclusion. *sigh*

One of you said that the avg American is unqualified for public office based upon the assessment of Palin's pupil status. It must've taken pure genius to come up w/ this analogy. (Go look that word up if you need... I won't dumb down my language for you.)The "average" reality-TV-watchin', radio-listening, GMO food-eating, mediocre grade-and-test-score-having goober is certainly NOT qualified to be president. (For reference: think Palin) And just WHEN has the presidency been reserved for the "average" American anyway? And why would anyone want an "average" anybody doing a job outside of Wal-Mart? Who wants an average doctor or surgeon? But you'll take an average president??? God bless America, should He be so concerned with earth's tragically average people.

Understanding Material

There's lots of people that attend College and barely graduate.

I've spend some 13 years in different countries and I'm thankful that my studies prepared me, so I could understand different geographical area. The question is not weather she graduated from College, or how long it took. The question should be, what type of student was she in college? Being President of the United States is a huge responsibility. If she was a student that barely made it through college, people of the United States should cringe when someone of that caliber comes on the political stage for the highest office in the America. There's no test for our politicians, but the American public can tell when someone present themselve as less then qualified. The majority don't vote for them.

wow

So one is only qualified for the presidency if they have been to ONE university and graduated in the standard 4 years? I guess the averge man (or woman) isn't qualified for the presidency. She worked hard and she accomplished it, she understands that. She is still humble and has an understanding for what it's like to be an average joe. People like Obama get educated and then talk down to us like they are or professors. I'd rather have Palin in charge personally.

dumb

I actually have attended 5 colleges in three years...please bash me for how i don't belong in politics because I switched schools. Let me explain to you how it works when you dont have a lot of money. I went away to one school that ended up being too expensive...I transfered to another university thinking it would be cheaper. My mom got laid off so I came home to attend a junior college. The junior college didn't have all the classes I needed so I had to attend another junior college close to home. Now I am finally getting my bachelors at another university. It's called life. At least she got her damn degree. And at least she doesn't hide her past like chairman (i refuse to call him president) obama has done...

Sarah's education

I cannot believe the comments, are you people kidding me, yea she's graduated but did her studies prepare her for the Presidency?? give her a tv show. And by the way, I found this site only to check out her educational background not to be-little it. Facts are factthough- perhaps those of you who think this too was another slur against Sarah are realizing the truth about her: nice gal, Mom, Governor but not presidential material. - and what exactly is a non denominational Christian? does that make her too good for a organized religion? sound like a radical to me!! ok, let her run in 2012, if you want to ruin your republican party, either way the next 8yrs are Obama's - GOD bless him and keep him safe from gun toting conservative Christians who actually no NOTHING about true Christian values. Read The Bible, Christ says more about divorce than about the gays or abortion. WHO among you will cast the 1st stone?? The Dems will save our great country from the REAL republican value of greed. LOOK AT THE LAST 8 YAERS! I love this counrty and Hate what Bush has done it and how the republican media machine ( traitors like Rush & Hannnity etc) have managed to brain wash half of the counry.

Sarah P college life

I was just curious where she went to school or if she attended college or graduated. I never seen where they covered her educational background. Thanks I know why now.
