Respect for the Greeks

Usually Fratboys make me want to vomit but these guys got it right! For those of you who know about www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com ti makes it even more funny. How the administration would determine this off limits is beyond me. Nice work Seattle!

agree with so sad

Lay down with out a fight? There is a big difference between sticking it to the man and bending over and taking it from the man. The youth of today me cry for their sorry tomorrow.

So Sad

I don't know which is sadder - that this "Jesuit" (sic) performed a stunt of such supreme stupidity (PC is an inadequate term here) or that the students so easily caved in. Has the campus environment become so compliant that they give up with barely a whimper?

In my day we OCCUPIED the administration buildings and even blew up a few. Now the students don't protest at all? WTF?

Memo to students: Next time, find out what it takes to legally post your off-campus property against trespassing and then if the pr*ck shows up again, have him arrested. Two can play the authority game.

Hypocracy In Seattle

I'm wondering just how many of these Seattle University administrators engaged in parties with "inappropriate" names, were guilty of underaged drinking, and/or other forms of inappropriate behavior while in college. You can be assured that the actual figure if they are being honest is 100%.

College is a time to experience the world and broaden one's horizons in a relatively safe environment. Students have no desire for another mom or dad beyond the ones they already have. They certainly don't need or want campus officials showing up on private property away from campus to enforce some school rule that has no weight past the college property line.

If Seattle University wants to continue down this road they are of course free to do so...and free to figure out why their enrollment is declining one day as a result.
