We keep on reading why more and more college "students" are dropping dead like flies on "campuses" throughout this once great nation that fears and obeys GOD. With ever-increasing news like these, it's no surprise why GOD is striking them dead!

When any nation or people fail to turn to GOD and obey HIS holy Law, GOD gives up on them and make them worthy of DEATH (Matthew 1:26-32). GOD's Law rings true today as it rang true 6,000 years ago and will be the law of the universe for the next trillion years.

Those kids lives are ruined

I think we need to lighten up on some of the laws such as getting caught with marijuana but cocaine should be enforced because it kills people. I think that we should legalize marijuana I believe that it would stimulate our econmyI think that it would stimulate our economy. Besides a lot of peoples lives are ruined simply because of one drug charge. Which intern if someone feels that their life is ruined and they have no chance of success, then they become less productive. These college students lives are ruined many of them will get felonies and will be cast out in their local community. Not only that but these students will not be able to receive financial aid from the government, which a lot of them need to even consider college. But regardless we waste tax payer dollars on small things such as this which the police investigate for years.

Lowest form of an education

I attended SDSU for my junior and senior years. Though I got a degree, I can't say I got much education.

The business department is reportedly better than average, but from my personal experience and talking to other alumni, I can say that the rest of the school is for those who are satisfied with overcrowded facilities, apathetic faculty, and low academic standards.

Few of the professors could care less about their undergraduate and even graduate students. The prevailing attitude is "take notes, shut up, pass the test, and don't bother me." Almost half the freshman class must take remedial English. It's understandable that the faculty is so demoralized when you see the low quality students attracted to this world famous party school. Date-rape in the fraternity houses is more common than academic achievement.

The school boasts of its modern library, but don't look for any new books. The collection hasn't received significant additions for more than a decade. Like the rest of the campus, the library is visually attractive, but empty of content.

This is also true for most of the student body. The co-eds seem to major in hair management with a minor in applied cosmetics. The male students are more up-to-date on sports trivia than current events. Nice to look at, but don't bother to enter a conversation with these deep-as-a-bottle-cap students.

There is little or no original research associated with SDSU. The various departments are knee deep in the culture wars and political correctness. At every turn, the emphasis is on diversity. Quality or integrity, on the other hand, is not to be found. "Community", at this school, specifically excludes anyone who is white, male, and heterosexual.

On the other hand, slackers, drinkers, and whining under-acheivers should thrive in this environment. I know several people who are proud of not ever reading a book, but still graduating from SDSU. The Friday and Saturday night fraternity beer-busts are legendary. Mediocrity finds ready support through a variety of student services, specially contrived to comfort those who have little chance of doing much with their lives.

I recall several specific incidents of academic bathos: The political science teacher who started his class with the declaration that he could not define "politics"; The Mexican-American Border History class that concentrated its attentions upon the evil inherent in "Anglos" and how to reclaim Mexico's lost territory; The beginning oil painting teacher who refused to explain such minor and boring details as "technique" because, "that's not important to learning to paint".

I could go on and on...

If you, or your children, have an opportunity to attend another school than SDSU, please do. You owe it to your future. An SDSU education is simply not respected, and for good reason. You'll be classed with all the losers from this school who have learned only how to resent those who work hard and are successful. UCSD students will hear that you're studying at SDSU, and abruptly finish the conversation.

With low standards, a militantly unionized faculty, and the laziest students I've ever encountered anywhere, SDSU stands out as the campus where you'll actually graduate knowing less than when you enter. Enroll at your own peril.
