The pettiness of the use of Hazing....!

As we all know hazing does occur in just about every thing we do in college. Now hazing is defined through our student activities mostly as doing anything that brings discomfort, humiliation, demands from members of the organization. However when we do reports like this and we ask bias questions just yeild results for significant findings in our data we allow small room for the truth.

When going through any type of sport or fraternity and sorority, and yes band and choir. There are certain things that are demanded of us there are certain excersises that we are required to do in order to be conditioned in becoming the best member of the group. Therefore when you ask these questions like have you ever had to stand for several hours, have you ever been asked to complete task. Of course the answers are going to be yes because hazing can be anything that we percieve it to be. Because it is not just physical, but mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial...therefore our research will always be bias and as leaders of these organizations, societies, groups, and clubs we should specify all perceptions of hazing in its entirity to the interest and prospects.

ummm, yeah

Honestly, did they not know about this before? I'm in a sorority, and we got hazed as well. And no, we didn't do "cute" stuff or anything, it was hazing for sure (nothing sexual or physical though, just putting that out there).

Stop defending athletes

I'm an athlete and we're the worst about hazing I'll be the first to tell you.

Hazing

I know hazing is still going on and it's not just atheletes, it's also going on within bands, currently there is a college right now who is in the middle of a problem because band members stated they were hazed and those who didn't participate was threatened stating they would be jummped on, IT NEEDS TO STOP immediately.

omMFg
