Our Contest Is Almost Ending

January 29, 2008 12:19 PM ET | Alison Go | Permanent Link | Print

Two more full days of voting left! Before the polls close at midnight Thursday, we offer a quick roundup of blog chatter, especially about the Best Alternative Media Outlet category:

* The Colonialist has indulged in trash talking, while the Bwog keeps it civil and Gadfly encourages the antivote.

* The Clog illustratively compares this contest to a recumbent bicycle race, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison: Off The Record made a pretty graphic, just for us. Thanks!

* Defending champion Wesleying has somehow taken an underdog stance. Paper Trail has no vendetta, I promise. Wesleying also points out some crafty (or Big Brotherly?) voting practices over at the Michigan blog.

And I don't even know what to say about Michigan's promise to buy everyone a puppy if they win. Michigan's a big school: Are there even that many puppies out there?

In conclusion, vote for your favorite alternative media outlet if you haven't already.

And while you're at it:
