Dress For Success -- Or Drop Out of B-School
Some Illinois State University business school students are no longer allowed to dress like scrubs to go to class, the Daily Vidette reports. In an effort to normalize khaki pants, polo shirts, and pastel-colored twinsets, teachers will kick out students who do not follow the newly minted dress code, which bans flip-flops and pajama pants. "We know how important it is for students to have an extra edge," says marketing professor Linda Showers. —Alison Go

educational neglect
While dressing nice does lend an air of confidence to students, how to get them to show up at all is the more serious question.
