*The Cornell University Police Department recovered its replica of the Sleeping Ariadne statue from an unnamed, off-campus fraternity house, according to the Cornell Daily Sun. Estimated value of a goddess of fertility statue: $20,000. Cost of one Viagra pill: $10. Knowing what the perpetrators were going to do with 350 pounds of plaster of Paris: priceless.

*Investigating the depths of the human mind, the psychology department at the University of Texas will be studying World of Warcraft and Second Life players, the Daily Texan reports. The survey will ask players whether they are "depressed, lonely, greedy, or physically attractive."

*Classes at the University of Nebraska just got a little steamier thanks to the school's effort to battle "overcooling" and conserve energy, the Daily Nebraskan reports. –Alison Go
