Student Caught Drawing Swastika Barred From GW Campus
An unnamed George Washington University student has been banished from campus for alleged connections with a number of swastikas and racial slurs scrawled on university property this past week, the GW Hatchet reports. Using surveillance footage, the university police were able to narrow the time frame of when one of almost a dozen racial epithets was made and believe they have subsequently identified the perpetrator of two of the incidents.
The ordeal, however, is not yet over, as university officials, in conjunction with the FBI, continue to investigate eight other swastikas drawn on campus—most on dorm-room doors—which authorities believe are not connected to the student already in custody.
