Channeling Their Inner James Madison: A Frat Bill of Rights

Unhappy with university persecution, University of Rochester fraternities have drafted a Bill of Rights to establish explicitly the relationship between frats and school security officials, the Campus Times report. The bill addresses privacy (because how can you haze—errr, "maintain secrecy" as the Times said—without it?), and more prominently, the travesty of social profiling. "Fraternities should be under no more scrutiny than the rest of the university community."

Interestingly enough, the fraternities are also asking that security officials not enter houses without a fraternity official present, a courtesy not extended to any other university building. Haven't they ever heard that you can't have it both ways?
