The Rankings Are Up. Let the Sour Graping Begin!
Shameless self-promotion: The new U.S. News America's Best Colleges rankings are now online, and schools have begun celebrating their success (while still being humble) or downplaying their misfortune. Typical response: "These rankings must be taken with a 'grain of salt.' "
Much has been made of the rankings' value lately—a point that every news story is compelled to mention—so we at Paper Trail figured we'd let our editor have his say.
