  • Students at American University are protesting a conference, scheduled to be held at the school, by a group they say has promoted ecoterrorism, destruction of property, and harassment of students on AU's campus, the Eagle reports.
  • Boston College announced it has eliminated all freshman students' predeclared majors; even those declared during the fall semester will disappear from the records, the B.C. Heights reports.
  • The Durham, N.C., district attorney who handled rape allegations against Duke University lacrosse players last year faces more ethics charges from the local bar association, the Chronicle reports.
