The Best Way to Get a Job at Harvard: Marry Someone Harvard Wants

Wining, dining, and housing are perks, but to get a big professor to come to Harvard, just one trick has proved a "showstopper": find her husband a job, too. Once the university decides on a recruit, university workers will call his or her spouse--and then "call anybody that has any relationship to anything the person does," a staff member tells the Crimson. The staff is successful a "good portion of the time."
