California State Faculty Protest Attracts Thousands
It looked like the 1960s yesterday at California StateNorthridgebut this time, it wasn't students who led a 1,500-strong march against the man. It was middle-aged faculty members, some of whom managed to get inside a trustee meeting, where they sat cross-legged and linked arms in gray-haired solidarity. Faculty members argue they don't make enough money to do their jobs well, but maybe the protest is a teaching moment: photos prove some members of Generation Apathy also attended the march.
