Freedom of Speech Reconsidered at Boston College

A revision in Boston College's speaker policy empowers the university to cancel speakers it deems disrespectful of BC's Roman Catholic heritage, the Heights reports. "The free exchange of ideas is a principal objective of the University," the policy used to read. Now, a line adds: "Such freedom of inquiry is, however, not absolute . . . ."
