The problem is employers are not E-Verifying I-9s. The governor of NC and Attorney General knows the Community College Board is aiding and abetting illegal aliens. Why? Who is making money on the slave labor? And what NC Citizens have been displaced by illegals?

NC Students/Citizens are being cheated out of higher class ranking due to illegal alien students being allowed to be ranked by Grade Point Averaging -GPA system. So some very qualified NC Students get displaced by illegal aliens in lower level courses in this ranking. Being given straight "A's" for lesser work in High School, then getting a higher ranking in front of NC Citizen/Student with "B" Honor work. See the loophole is all these course grades go into a GPA ranking to go to COLLEGE. Then the scholarships and colleges look at students class ranking when accepting or giving awards out. THINK NC CITIZENS IS THIS FAIR TO OUR OWN CITIZENS/STUDENTS?

Displaced North Carolina Students by lower course of study illegal alien students is abusing NC Citizens.

The simple solution for education, employment, financial, drug cartels, and criminal aiding and abetting of illegal aliens would be to require the full State of North Carolina to use E-Verify of I-9 of every employee.Currently, the ESC (unemployment offices) in NC only E-Verify the I-9 of MIGRATE FARM WORKERS. Why not all I-9s?

And all NC police should be required to join the 70 of 3,000 DISTRICTS in the country that use 287g Program. The media and police reports should contain the legal status of inmates in the jails in North Carolina. One state actually puts the words of "ON HOLD FOR ICE" for public information in their media and police information to the public. What is the big secret? And who is benefiting and losing from not check the identity of everyone?

What will happen to the children who are brought to the united states by thier illegal parents? These children are raised with americans and adopt this country as thier own. What future will these childen have? With America closing their community colleges doors to illegals... there is no future here for these children that were brought here at a very young age. These children are going to school, and they do wish to continue thier education in order to better off their families to pay back the hard work their parents did for them so they can have better opportunities in this country. Just because illegals come here with out permission it does not mean they are criminals or deliquents... they are just looking for a better life that many americans take for granted by throwing away great opportunites.

America is for Americans? Now, there's a nice catch-phrase, but when one ponders over it outside of the emotional content, it really carries no weight. Just who exactly are these "Americans" that you talk of? Citizens? Green card holders? Student visa holders? Work visa holders?

How quickly we forget that just a generation ago, it was "some other group" that was being blasted for "turning America into something other than America" (or something like that), and this sort of thing simply repeats every couple decades. Take a moment and realize that education is the way to a productive life in society, and then consider how much improvement would come from many, many productive lives in society... and the obvious benefits are seen. One can take the principled argument and rail against illegal immigrants, but when considered in the proper, long-term context (historical and future), it is abundantly clear that such a narrow view is, er...., narrow and somewhat self-defeating.

College Bans Immigrants

I'm praying and hoping this ban does get lifted. As a high school student I've seen many of my illegal immigrant friends work twice as hard as any other student. The have a desire and passion in there heart to do better in this country of the "free". They want to take the opportunites available but are unable because of their legal status. Some american students would rather work at McDonalds for the rest of their life than take the college challenge and immigrants students just want an opportunity. We're the "united" states and personally where anyone comes from shouldn't be the reason for them to fail or to successed in this country. I'm not an immigrant but I am a proud Mexican American.

Superior Education

This is not the United States I've known...living in the U.S my whole life and being raised here, its hard for someone to tell you one day your future has to stop.. I was very enthusiastic about going to college and getting a career. Having to graduate out of High School and expecting to that be all you can have from education is not right. Its a struggle that not eveyone understands. So be wise and think about all the things this country could achieve by giving more diversed people more opened doors like Superior Education.

Colleges Ban Illegal Immigrants

There are many visas available to foreign students and has been for decades. Our colleges solicit to foreign students. MIT is 40% foreign students. We do our fair share for others and leave our own people behind. We have legal American Citizens living in the U.S. that do not get to go to college. Colleges that enroll illegal immigrants should be punished severely same as businesses that hire illegal immigrants.
