Morning Buzz: Feb. 26, 2008

A former rival for the White House, Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, is expected to endorse Barack Obama in Cleveland today. Dodd's endorsement will come before tonight's debate between Obama and Hillary Clinton. It will be the last time the Democratic candidates square off before the all-important primaries in Ohio and Texas on March 4.

It's rare to hear the strains of the "The Star-Spangled Banner" in North Korea, but it happened today. The New York Philharmonic performed the U.S. national anthem for North Korea's communist elite, becoming the first major American cultural group to perform and the largest to visit the repressive and  secretive country.

During the fourth quarter in 2007, American home prices fell 8.9 percent, according to the Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller home price index. It marks the largest drop in the index's 20-year history after a full year of declining values.
