Carter

This trip was all about Jimmy's place in history in which he is constantly trying to erase a lousy presidency. He should quit while he is ahead. I am not sure how much more clear Iran and Hamas, a wing of that government can be so that Jimmy understands that peace with Israel is not possible - EVER. No matter what concessions Israel would make it would never be enough. At the same time, the lousy life that the average Palestinian has endured for so many years cannot be erased either. It is equally unfortunate that representation of the Palestinian people has always been by those seeking to exploit the people all the while getting rich and refusing to budge on any of the issues. It may be a political position for both sides that is enjoyed at the expense of the people. To think that a western can solve this complex issue is laughable. The arrogance that Jimmy has to think he is the one to do it . But heck, if something good comes from it all it isn't any worse I guess than paying the usual lip service to the problem.

Carter's visit

He may have failed to convince hamas to halt rocket attacks on Israel, but he certainly succeeded in thoroughly pissing off Zawahiri (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=080422100510.qnl6rneq&show_article=1). If the "holy warriors" listen to this moron, there will certainly be more deaths in Iraq. Will Carter accept responsibility for these deaths?
