Scotland Yard has now weighed in on the death of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. In a report released today, the British investigators conclude that Bhutto died from the blast of a suicide bomb detonated at the site of her death and not from a gunshot wound, as members of her political party have frequently charged.

At least six people are missing after a sugar refinery near Savannah, Ga., exploded into flames late last night. Officials say they suspect that volatile sugar dust may have ignited the blaze.

President Bush received a cheering reception upon his arrival at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., this morning and pledged his full support for the presumptive  GOP presidential nominee — without mentioning John McCain by name. "We have had good debates and soon we will have a nominee who will carry a conservative banner into this election and beyond," Bush said. "I'm absolutely confident that with your help, we will elect a person who shares our principles."
