Pakistan's elections will be delayed until February 18, authorities said today  in responding to violence surrounding the assassination of opposition party leader Benazir Bhutto. The elections were originally scheduled for next week and were seen as a big step in Pakistan's transition to Democracy from military rule. Bhutto's death created widespread unrest across Pakistan, with 58 people dead in rioting and tens of millions of dollars in property damage.

Just in time to poke fun once more at the presidential candidates before voters caucus in Iowa tomorrow, late-night comedians David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan O'Brien will return to the air tonight. Letterman's production company Worldwide Pants came to an agreement with writers, while his competitors will remain without writers because of a continuing strike. So far, presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee is scheduled to appear on Leno and comedian and actor Robin Williams will appear on Letterman's show.

Doctors are working on a vaccine that may help those suffering from an addiction to cocaine. Two researchers from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston are working on a vaccination that would tamper with the immune system and not allow users to get high, which is what makes the drug so addictive. The vaccine is currently in clinical trials.
