North Korea agreed this morning to disband its main nuclear reactor by the end of this year and to provide the international community with a "complete list" of its nuclear programs. A team of experts led by U.S. officials will oversee the process.
The U.S. government will conduct the largest terrorism exercise in the nation's history next week, according to a document obtained by the Associated Press. Fictional dirty bombs will be detonated in Phoenix and Portland, and a similar exercise will be conducted in Cabras, on the island of Guam.
Microsoft yesterday unveiled the newest versions of its Zune digital media player, which competes (anemically) with the industry-leading Apple iPod. The new models are sleeker and more technologically advanced, but industry analysts say they remain unimpressed.
