  • President Bush will sign a deal in Brazil today to bring more ethanol into the United States. See video to the right.
  • The FBI has been underreporting its use of the U.S.A. Patriot Act to obtain customer records from businesses, an audit has found.
  • In a concession over the growing uproar over the firings of at least eight U.S. attorneys last year, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has agreed to change the way the prosecutors are replaced, the Washington Post reports.
  • Hearings begin Monday for 14 "high value" inmates at Guantanamo who have been transferred from secret CIA prisons, according to Reuters.
