Will Men Vote for Sarah Palin Only Because She Is Hot?

Strength given to all

Put the names up for an interview including President Hussien Obama and you will see who the citizens of this country watches. Sarah Palin is good and she talks like she can treat each citizen in this Country with dignity and respect.

Oh she's very nd very attractive. Yes I am a male and I enjoyed her campaign speeches and all her interviews.

Get ready America for a woman to be our commanding leader of our Country the good old USA

Sarah Palin is hot. A strength not a weakness.

Sarah Palin is hot. But not just because of the way she looks. Because of who she is. I heard her on the radio first thinking she was hot before I even saw her image. Being hot is a strength, not a weakness.

Hillary Clinton could be hot too if I never looked into her eyes or heard her speak. Please.

I have seen many women bias them selves against other women because they are attractive. It's another form of descrimination. I don't want to hear it in politics.

Anyways if I was going to vote for looks I would pick Cassandra Patterson. Now she is hot!

But Sarah Palin would have made a great president and I will vote for her over again even for president if she holds her ideals.

As far as any dirt people can dig up on her it looks pretty shallow to me. There is virtually a book of dirt on Obama however Read about it while you can before he takes up all your time making you do community service if he gets his way.

It takes more than a wink at the TV camera

How can any politician be taken remotely seriously who has avoided a single appearance on a Sunday morning talk show such as Meet The Press or Face The Nation...no interviews without Daddy McCain sitting right there next to her, to rescue her if she gets asked a "hard" or "gotcha" question ( such as, "What do you read every day?"...shame on you, Katie! ). I have never, in over thirty years following politics, seen a more ill-prepared, inept candidate selected for such a high office. I've wanted so badly to vote for John McCain...and yet I just can't. He would enter office at 72 years old, with a Barbie Doll VP presumably ready to step into the presidency, given the inevitability at some point of John McCain becoming incapacitated. She can read a teleprompter. Wow. She can wax enthusiastic in front of Republican crowds, all pre-disposed to love her and dote on her every scripted word ( the Japanese firm that manufactures her glasses is back-ordered some three months ). Come on, people. Get a clue! This isn't a rock star that you can worship for a hockey season, and then drop. This globally ignorant woman could well become our 45th president.

This sure gets ugly fast...

I have been on this earth for 55 years, mostly as a conservative republican. I do not recall any presidential election that got to the level of invective that this one has reached.

Is it possible that someone who votes for McCain is not a racist and/or a fascist? Is it possible that someone who votes for Obama is not a socialist or a terrorist? The country is NOT going to become communist or socialist is six months, and the act of voting for McCain should not cause you to be labeled a racist. [Oddly, the most racist person I know personally is voting for Obama because he believes that he will be a better president. How about that??]

But back to the question at hand. I will admit, as a male with the usual weaknesses, that I might listen more closely to an attractive woman, and I think that Sarah Palin falls into that category. But I also think McCain's age and health a legitimate reasons to consider his VP candidate more closely than you might normally. I'm sorry he was not the republican nominee in 2000 - I think he would have been infinitely better than Bush. But he wasn't - and we play the hand we are dealt.

So I am very concerned that someone who thinks it is good sport to hunt from a helicopter, who believes in creationism, whose husband advocated secession until it became politically inconvenient, who takes credit for a balanced budget in the state that gets more money back from the feds for every dollar it sends to Washington than any other, could be a heartbeat away from being Commander in Chief. No matter how good looking she is.

And by the way, Morgan, I also read my columnists in order of their attractiveness! ;-)

Barack Obama

Senator Barack Obama says he will take care of the poor, yet he has no interest in his own poor relatives.

He says he is going to change the world, yet he won’t change his vote to protect an infant born alive after a botched abortion.

Senator Obama said he will sit down and talk with terrorists without conditions, yet he didn’t sit down with Senator McCain and discuss campaign financing as he promised

Senator Obama sits with his family in a hate white church for 20 years, yet he says he will bring racial harmony.

Senator Obama says he won’t tax the middle class, yet he will turn our government into a welfare state.

Senator Obama promises to bring peace to the world, yet he plans to cut military spending which will invite others to attack us (Carter, Clinton). He like President Carter believes that “total unilateral disarmament is an imperative of our time”.

Senator Obama has given this nation nothing but rhetoric, yet now he promises “TO CHANGE THE WORLD”.

Senator Obama promises to give, yet history has shown many cases of tyrants who promised to give and all they did was take and kill.

This man is a megalomaniac.

She's not that hot

Paul Begala famously said that politics is show business for unattractive people. Even with that as the appropriately low standard for beauty, all this talk about Sarah Palin as "hot" perplexes me. I've even tried watching her videos with the sound off and she still does nothing for me.

I'm a 53 year old married man. My 38 year old wife, who is quite a beauty herself, disagrees with me and says she thinks Palin is quite attractive.

But, bottom line, neither one of us would ever vote for her for anything. She's a cultural right winger with extreme positions on choice. She's an absolute hypocrite on economic issues--having governed like, well, a spread-the-wealth socialist. She has been given incredible advantages and yet still speaks as if she has a chip on her shoulder. Maybe that plays well in Alaska, but nationally her act is already threadbare.

Will Men Vote for Sarah Palin Only Because She Is Hot?

Well since most American voters are morons, I would suspect that they would. I mean, if a person's vote can be swayed by SNL or The Daily Show, then I am sure there will be men who vote for her because she is fine. This is one more reason why voters should be required to pass an IQ test before being allowed to vote. The idiocy of the American people is the reason why we have such low-lifes and thieves in public office throughout the nation.

McCain would have had a better chance picking Condo Rice. Condo is not very good looking, but she is intelligent. (Even though I think her politics suck). Sarah Pa in is dumb. She could not discuss one supreme court case, and could not answer the question what magazines does she read. Sarah Pa in is out of her league, there are so many other qualified women McCain could have picked. Although the American public is shallow, we are not shallow enough to have Sarah Pa in a heartbeat away from the presidency. "W" has left a hugh mess to be cleaned up - 10 trillion dollar debt (not sure how many zeros that is) He blew a 5.6 trillion surplus, like a drunken sailor. (Oh wait he is a drunk - one DWI, Cheney two DWIs). We can't afford another republican president.

Get it hot!

What is more sexy than a woman in power?

Yep

You bet
